But that's fun ๐
But that's fun ๐
That's brilliant news
I love the link of his birth to our local Cathedral, in Apt, 84. His mother struggled to have a child and asked for relics of Saint Anne to be sent from the Cathedral to help her conceive and carry a child to term. It took many years, but she believed the relics were responsible for his birth
Dropped off some & headed to a favourite coffee shop for pre-shopping treat ... Hopefully this will get us through
Hope it goes well ๐ค
Good morning, early start to drop eldest at the airport... Alarm set for 6.15, but we were awake at 5, waiting for it to go off ๐คทโโ๏ธ At least we've had time for coffee and porridge
It finishes in our local town on Friday and all being well, we'll be able to watch it in 2 spots on the way through
I never get anything without haggling ๐คฃ
The man is a wonderful vintage find, I stumbled across him 40 years ago and he's been rather a lovely addition to the house ever since ๐
Oh ugh ๐
Thanks, we do rather love it
Oh lovely ... We have an old lead one in the UK (an auction find from Hatherleigh, many years ago) and are slowly finding bits for the terrace here, to replace plants that just don't survive baking summers, and freezing winters ... We had been looking for one, for a while ๐
It's always so strange ... Our cars are orange after the rain now, but the sky here is still white / cream with the dust
Little morning at a local VG, and it's nice to get back to squirrelling through boxes and around the stalls in little villages ... A couple more bits for the terrace found their way onto Fifi's back seat
Good morning .... We've slinked back outside for coffee in the sun, this morning... Hope you have a good day
A superb match to watch
Over the last few days, we've slowed down enough to start catching up on the time we went exploring Japan in a campervan... We love walking, but we chose a 'mad dogs and English men' moment for this one, up to the Torii Gate in the sky youtu.be/mtb6kgbnFKo
Less orange today (that's mostly across the cars and terrace), but a muddy white ๐
Good morning ... From a sand filled sky in Provence.
It's really lovely
Honestly, it was one of those unforgettable days... Just filled with so much happiness
The Chapeau Rouge at Simiane La Rotonde, a beautiful village towards Banon
Hopefully it will warm soon ... It's slab grey here xx
Yesterday's grey morning trip in Fifi to a local Boulangerie, for croissants with friends ... She turns every little trip into a bit of fun youtube.com/shorts/zvBw1...
Good morning, slightly soggy here today , hope it's bright with you ๐
Good morning ... Yesterday was a good day, friends became grandparents and after just under 2 years of process, a family reunification request has been agreed ... There were lots of tears and wine may have been drunk ๐ฅน
We've started disappearing down the rabbit hole of looking at a second trip, next autumn, so will take a look thanks
Definitely not a day to wash the cars!
Ironbridge is wonderful and the Blists Hill old town. My dad was a foundryman and I loved visiting there, I still do as it brings back so many memories
It's certainly sand here, we'd been told to expect it and it's quite a layer
