I did not go into work today prepared to be handed the ashes of my dead boyfriend.
If marketing teams were like DnD parties, I think apps like Canva are essentially cantrips for copywriters. It’s lets us do some of the basic magic of graphic design without having the full arcane knowledge of Photoshop like designers.
I worked out, went to a therapy session, and dissociated into BG3. Set my Reddit feed to cute animals. Probably the best way to deal with it.

All my video game play throughs eventually devolve into how I play The Sims, which is destruction for the lolz. In BG3, I locked a kid in his room, then smashed all his stuff with a sword while he yelled. Then I bribed him with explosives. This did not advance my game at all, but it did amuse me.
The ADA was spearheaded by an Iowa senator. We used to be a proper state. Now we’re an embarrassment.
If my favorite fantasy novelists could quit turning into the monsters they have their heroes slay, that would be greeeaaatt.
I forgot how spooky community theaters can be when you’re working on a production late at night. Especially when you’re responsible for locking up at night. The old props here and there, the half-built sets, the maze of stage entrances/exits feel like a haunted house 👻

Jumping into Baldur’s Gate 3 was like landing on a new planet. I played the hell out of the original games, plus Icewind Dale. They captured the spirit of the franchise perfectly.
Oh man, Diablo. I don’t think I’ve played that series in 20 years. I got back into gaming during lockdown and wondering why I ever stopped.
