Find some spine, UK and Europe. Where’s that fabled spirit of resistance? Tell Trump to sod off. Close his golf courses. Take the gloves off. Badenoch kicked out Jenrick before he quit; what are we waiting for with Trump? Do we have to suffer abject humiliation? Enough. Enough already.
Reminder that in the UK an incoming radical, populist government would have immediate access to immense, unchecked executive power.
And the current government is doing nothing to protect us from that.

Among the many terrifying things about this, is the thought that actual terrorists are probably making hay because the anti-terror police are putting resources into this utter nonsense.
It is very hard to see how the UK government can sign this statement, which makes it absolutely clear that it recognises that Israel is committing - as a matter of state policy - deliberate and systematic war crimes, without at a minimum cutting all military cooperation with Israel.
This is abominable and everyone involved in the series of events which led to it, from the Home Office to the police, should be ashamed of themselves.
