My husband is selfishly using his Xbox so no Mafia for me.

I’ve started downloading Dragon Age: The Veilguard which has been in my backlog since Christmas.

But I’m the meantime, I thought I’d start Diablo IV. I have no idea what to expect but I’m intrigued. Anyone play these?

Both of those were great! Three Houses was my first FE game and I loved engage after that too. You’re in for a great time!

Enjoy! I really did wanna love it and when it’s good, it’s great. But the run backs and constant minion enemy spawns in boss fights is just frustrating and boring now for me sadly

I’m so far off finishing it 😂 But yeah it’s not even the difficulty it’s just the run backs and time wasting and repetitiveness of the boss design

I’m playing a bit more Hollow Knight: Silksong but I honestly think I’m nearly done with it. I’m just not enjoying it enough to want to put up with all the time wasting bullshit it has.

Yeah definitely in agreement. The game is great overall but my biggest gripe with Metroidvanias in general is the repetitiveness and often unnecessary backtracking. Games like Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown really nail systems that keep the core elements but eliminate the annoying parts

Absolutely with you on that!! Makes the frustration hit so much earlier. No real reason for them tbh which makes them more annoying

Playing these two games together is absolute perfection!!

I play Hollow Knight until I feel myself start to get frustrated (those run backs though 😡)

Then I switch to the gorgeous palette cleanser that is Mafia: The Old Country (those accents and that scenery 😍)

This game is gorgeous!

Pure escapism and the gameplay is starting to open up now too. Really liking it so far 😊🎮

I finished What Remains of Edith Finch.

The way the story was told was intriguing, but honestly the narrative itself didn’t connect with me as much as I expected.

I kinda just went “oh, ok then”.
