100% the same for me! Beast Wars was my intro to serialized storytelling years before The Sopranos or Lost. 😁

Good point! I suppose it is also similar to Ninja Turtles which never really stopped being popular. Although, despite starting in the 80’s, Ninja Turtles also felt very 90’s. But then again, the late 80’s and the early 90’s were kind of the same thing. 😄
Yeah, that’s very true. MacFarlane is definitely an old soul. It just feels like there has been so much 80’s nostalgia, including big budget movies like Transformers. But I guess the 80’s is kind of a crossover period between GenX and Millennials.
What counts as GenX nostalgia? Because it feels Seth MacFarlane ensured we got nothing but that for like two decades.
Besaid Island from Final Fantasy X is absolutely gorgeous and, if I remember correctly, was actually based on Okinawa. One of the most beautiful settings in gaming. The only islands in that game I liked better were the ones on Lulu’s chest, know what I’m sayin’? HONK HONK! AWOOGA!
Also I found this and it made me laugh.

Now that I have been spending more on games, I have less money to make it rain on all dem tiddies.
I wholeheartedly second all of this. LM2 was ok, but it got a little repetitive and tedious. 3, on the other hand, was a masterpiece. *Chef’s Kiss* indeed!
Father McGuinness? Is that you?
