It also reveals the shortsightedness, and for some the intellectual dishonesty, of those who defended Israel's tactics in Gaza as the unavoidable horrific nature of urban warfare.
In fact it's been a component of Israel's tactical/strategic approach since at least the 2006 war with Hezbollah.
