The US is already wondering if they need an off ramp after successfully replacing Khamenei with Khamenei.

All the politicians & pundits who cheerled for war, or meekly tagged along, co-own this utter failure & total disgrace, & belong in the bin - & several belong in the Hague.

The good news is that we have learned that where there is political will there is at least a discretionary spare billion dollars a day to spend on whatever is deemed important.

If not on this war, what would you spend a billion dollars a day on?

Supporting this war means, in Lebanon, backing attacks on apartment buildings, and on Ghanaian UN peacekeepers , and, in Iran, backing attacks on 4 schools and 13 hospitals. So far.

The reality of this war is in front of our eyes. If we don’t want more, we need to stop the war.

The diaspora and Western liberals need to never again fall for that siren song. The war lobby has learned to weaponise liberal identity politics to get buy in for their invasions and everyone else needs to immunise themselves against that.

The pro-war diaspora voices who imagined some kind of parallel universe nice invasion from a Marvel movie - and those who platformed them - also have a share of the blame for calling for a war that was never gonna be like that fantasy.
