Letztendlich ist es jedoch kein Allheilmittel - vielmehr hängt es vom politischen Willen und der Entschlossenheit der Staatengemeinschaft ab, das Übereinkommen als Instrument zu nutzen, um entschlossene und koordinierte Maßnahmen zur Bekämpfung des Verlusts der biologischen Vielfalt in den Ozeanen zu ergreifen."
