slept through the morning service but attended a gorgeous lessons & carols followed by an evening service that felt so full of tenderness and love that i welled up with tears SEVERAL times. and we sang an irish folk magnificat setting AND prepare ye the way of the lord from godspell

a reading from the second letter of Peter, but the venite app wasnt sure which letter to capitalize and put in a fancy font. so instead it gave an entirely capitalized scrambled messy version of the reading with about half of the letters randomly in a fancy font. the reading is especially intense too making it freakier "ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO INDULGE THEIR FLESH IN DEPRAVED LUST, AND WHO DESPISE AUTHORITY. BOLD AND WILLFUL, THEY ARE NOT AFRAID TO SLANDWR THE GLORIOUS ONES,"
