Sometimes you just need to close off the outside world for a few hours and recharge.

And monotonous mechanics when it comes to killing the monsters which look like they've not done anyone any harm for thousands of years. Couple that with really buggy climbing mechanics and you end up with not the most enjoyable gaming experience.

Just finished #ShadowOfTheColossus on #PS4 It's an excellent technical demo of what the PS4 is capable of, but a game it isn't. Any game elements feel like they've just been bolted on at the end, the faintest whisper of a story written on the back of a ciggy packet while hungover.......

Now and again I'll have an issue with a game on #Xbox when using Quick Resume where the game stops responding to the controller after jumping back in, and I've always thought it was an issue with Xbox, but now I see the same issue on #PS5 too.

I have never ever liked this guy, not even when everyone else raved about how much of a brilliant fighter he was. People said his arrogance was part of a persona and he was a real nice guy out of the spotlight, and now we know different.

I really enjoyed the first episode of Dune Prophecy.

I've just played #OperationWolf on #NintendoSwitch and I think the company should have included the arcade version too. Not as a nod to #RetroGaming but to show how not to ruin a bloody good game. The new version is awful, truly awful.
