"The musical palette [of the NDTC] can be bold and colourful, pale and pastel, striking and awe-inspiring. We can state with no fear of contradiction that the soundscape of the NDTC is never predictable, never boring...โ โMarjorie Whylie (Musical Director Emerita, NDTC)

โOne of my central concerns is, of course, redefinition...Weโre not at the margins; we must place ourselves at the centre. When we talk, for example, of entering the mainstream, our responsibility is to determine the mainstream โ not to enter it.โ โRex Nettleford

Rex Nettlefordโs 'Court of Jah' embodies judgment and liberation alike โ a searing crucible of resistance in which the spirit is tested, refined, and ultimately set free.
โOne love, one heart, one destiny.โ
โNone but ourselves can free our minds.โ
