I use mine straight from the fridge & warm water. It works just fine. That’s the great thing about a starter, it’s versatile!

Dehydrate some once stable.

Maybe time for a bigger jar. My recipe only calls for 50g of starter, but our house is so cool, I double that in the winter. I try to use most of what is in the jar, maybe a tablespoon remains to be fed.
