He holds he backpack in front of himself to shield himself. Panel 2: Shen, scared and sweating a bit, closes his eyes and says "I-I don't have lunch money today!" Panel 3: Sweating ever more, he opens up his backpack and says "BUT, um, I made this drawing of you." He pulls out a drawing of the sukeban girl in profile view, resting a wooden sword on her shoulder, inside a circle with a wave-like pattern. Panel 4: The sukeban girl, holding the drawing and still scowling, says "wow that's actually really good."
