The richest man owns X.
The second and third richest men control Google.
The fourth richest man owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
The fifth richest man owns The Washington Post.
And now the sixth richest could soon take over both Paramount and Warner Bros.
See the problem here?
I wish people would make the same arguments about the Secretary of Education actually being an educator.
Figure skater Alysa Liu holding up her 2026 Olympics gold medal grimacing and exposing her teeth.
Oakland rap legend Mac Dre popping his chain and collar simultaneously while grimacing and showing his teeth (colloquially known as a "thizz face").

Hey parents, maybe we don't have to segregate your children from each other in all the classrooms?
Thanks for sharing Dr. Thornton!
And focusing only on the impact of tracking on test scores ignores the ideological and democratic implications of the practice.
#DubNation stands with the people of Minneapolis and all communities affected by ICE and federal agentsβ actions of violence.
This goes beyond basketball. Lives are lost and many are hurting. Our thoughts are with grieving families and with everyone calling for peace, justice, and accountability.ποΈβ
Kid in a hat and backpack, maybe 5, getting detained
This picture making the rounds on reddit, Columbia Heights. I'm not OK.
Thanks all! Excited to hear everyone's insights
Renee Nicole Good is dead not only because of one ICE agent but because of every single person that voted for Trump. Her death and the countless other killings by ICE are in their hands as well.
There is no way to spend billions of dollars in one life time. Even ten mansions won't cost that much. At some point, the only use for money is power.
Billionaires are not compatible with democracy.
someone tell the California ACLU who is disproportionately more likely to be killed in traffic accidents including those involving people under the influence
Also restrooms because it looks like he shat himself
As a nineties kid, the station wagon argument lands with me because I loved sitting in the rear-facing back seats and making dumb faces at the drivers be hind me. As an adult, though, I realize now one rear-end accident and my little ass would have died
In my many many conversations with young people about race, this generally rings true. But most who i talk to still tend to understand racism as an interpersonal problem rather than a structural/policy one.
Posting on Bluesky for me is a bit like shouting into a void, but I wanted to share my AERJ article somewhere.

Would love to hear about more of stuff like that!
I'm confused as to why there seems to be no effort among universities to collectively defend ourselves against this bullying. Why aren't we sharing resources, going on CNN, and creating marketing campaigns? Why don't we collectively stand up against this kind of stuff? I thought we were smart
I will never in my academic career understand what the Division G subsections mean
Just donatedβ¦please consider doing the same.
The immediate impulse seems to be to roast these articles, but more than half of voters chose Trump. Many of us don't know any of them very well. don't we want to know how they think ... so we can, like, win an election next time?
I want to reach as wide/diverse an audience as I can, & I genuinely enjoy engaging outside ideological "bubbles." But I'm mystified how many academics I respect & learn from (& all our universities) still use Twitter. It seems increasingly irresponsible to bolster a platform that wants to kill us.
time to be the biggest fucking annoying karen bitch you've ever been in your fucking life, this is it, good luck yall
Where is he? If we stop asking, stop demanding his return, we are complicit in his disappearance.
