π I read 12 books in February, which might just have been my best reading month ever!
Not one book in February went below a 4/5 star rating!

Sunrise on the Reaping is how to do a good prequel.
Take a beloved character, flesh them out, and build out the history of a world at the same time. π

Unless youβre wedded to KU, the Kobo Libra Colour being at Β£179 is honestly insane!
If you consider the ColorSoft is Β£240, and doesnβt even had the buttons, itβs a no brainer which the better bang for your buck is!

Started Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow recently. π¦ΈββοΈ
Itβs the book the new film is based on.
The art is stunning! Story has been on so farβ¦
The Wrong Sister has some brilliant twists and turns and keeps up a constant level of tension but doesnβt expand the genre and has some very meh characters.

Heard some very positive things!
π Reading update!
Weβre into March now, so I have my ratings for my January read, V for Vendetta by Alan Moore and February read, My Friends by Fredrik Backman.
Two SENSATIONAL books to start the year!!
Can Alchemised keep up the high scores? π
Exactly how I felt! Such a fantastic book!
My Friends is everything I've come to expect from a Fredrik Backman too - stunning writing, incredible heart and adorable characters. π

Started Vol 2 of Absolute Batman this morning.
Itβs brilliant and it makes me want to read Abs Superman, Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter! π¦
V for Vendetta felt like the perfect start to my graphic novel journey. It was so fun, had fantastic art and was brilliantly written!

Fantastic book!
Alchemised by Sen Lin Yu on a Kobo Libra Colour
Letβs see if itβs worth the hype then!
I donβt think itβll shock anyone to realise Iβve become utterly obsessed with graphic novels this year!
So I thought Iβd talk about some of them I have on my radar!

James by Percival Everett may seem like just a spin-off of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn but it's actually possibly one of the best books I've ever read.

Whatβs a book that physically hurt you? ππ
100% agree with this. Same as any other book, theyβve just been around longer
Cor, now youβre talking! π
I think a lot of people like their books to look uniform. Some people hate cracked spines too. If itβs got a cracked spine and some random pages have remnants of turned corners, it doesnβt feel quite as pure haha
Iβm paperback only!
Interesting! This would probably require you to not read the blurb and not look online into the book at all. I do find I prefer books when I know little about them!
I agree with this very much! But sometimes people donβt have the time or the patience to wait that long for that sentence and people just want to enjoy what theyβre reading all the time
Interesting⦠care to expand why?
Wait.. permanently or just while you read? π
Sorry? π do you mean LITERALLY? If so Iβve never heard of anyone physically cutting a book in half to make it lighter haha
Not sure I get this one? π
Give me your hot takes/ unpopular opinions about booksβ¦
One Day by David Nicholls is arguably one of my favourite books of all time. But what about You Are Here?
