Unless you’re wedded to KU, the Kobo Libra Colour being at Β£179 is honestly insane!

If you consider the ColorSoft is Β£240, and doesn’t even had the buttons, it’s a no brainer which the better bang for your buck is!

Started Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow recently. πŸ¦Έβ€β™€οΈ

It’s the book the new film is based on.

The art is stunning! Story has been on so far…

The Wrong Sister by Claire Douglas book review - Luke’s Blog The Wrong Sister has a solid and tense plot that kept me reading and a satisfying end but honestly has a couple of meh main characters.

The Wrong Sister has some brilliant twists and turns and keeps up a constant level of tension but doesn’t expand the genre and has some very meh characters.

We’re into March now, so I have my ratings for my January read, V for Vendetta by Alan Moore and February read, My Friends by Fredrik Backman.

Two SENSATIONAL books to start the year!!

Can Alchemised keep up the high scores? πŸ‘€

So I thought I’d talk about some of them I have on my radar!

James by Percival Everett book review - Luke’s Blog James by Percival Everett tells James missed stories from The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and it's so damn good!

James by Percival Everett may seem like just a spin-off of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn but it's actually possibly one of the best books I've ever read.

100% agree with this. Same as any other book, they’ve just been around longer

I think a lot of people like their books to look uniform. Some people hate cracked spines too. If it’s got a cracked spine and some random pages have remnants of turned corners, it doesn’t feel quite as pure haha

21.02.2026 22:11 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

I’m paperback only!

21.02.2026 22:10 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

Interesting! This would probably require you to not read the blurb and not look online into the book at all. I do find I prefer books when I know little about them!

I agree with this very much! But sometimes people don’t have the time or the patience to wait that long for that sentence and people just want to enjoy what they’re reading all the time

Sorry? πŸ˜‚ do you mean LITERALLY? If so I’ve never heard of anyone physically cutting a book in half to make it lighter haha

You are Here by David Nicholls book review - Luke’s Blog Though not quite the emotional demolition One Day was, You Are Here is still an emotive, heartwarming story about love with great characters.

One Day by David Nicholls is arguably one of my favourite books of all time. But what about You Are Here?
