After the most stressful 2 weeks ive had since undergrad, 2 huge things finally got off my plate, & both in the same day!

1st one is working related and boring to explain, the other is I found a very nice car for a reasonable price. She's a little cutie too!

Need to know the name of the phenomenon where you think you had a bad lift because it feels like youre overworking the wrong muscles (front delts) and they are very sure during the workout, BUT the next day you're those are fine and youre so where you are supposed to be (chest) πŸ€”

So back on it this week.

240 by June is looking very achievable, and Im so excited to slim down alittle so I can bulk the hell up over the summer back to a muscley 260 and lift heavy as fuck.

I've accepted im gonna have to go up to 2X fully, but imma fill that shit out so well 😀

Week 5 βœ…οΈ (day late lol)

Ive already bitched enough about my car, but last week was ROUGH to say the least. Ended up not doing my 7 day stretch, but my inbody scan was very affirming. The trainer who helped me also was pretty impressed with how much body fat I lose and still gained alittle muscle.

Sulked for 48 hours about the car and then needed to get out the house so gym it was.

Tried the new glute routine and I think its solid. Especially since I now know that deadlifts are more of a leg workout and not back (don't come for me I'm sensitive right now!). Back to being my fav day again.

Needless to say, I feel defeated and just sat back down on the couch. Always feels like 2 steps forward, 3 steps back.
Was barely handling insurance let alone now insurance and a car payment (not having one is not an option cuz the job is 40 minutes away and I have in person events).

After 5 Midwestern winters, I ended up in a wreck this morning.

Right as I was about to walk to the gym (its right across the street luckily), adjuster called and was pretty adamant about expecting a total loss. My jetta is 13 years old soo... kinda expected it but was maybe too hopeful.

Anywho, to really kick off week 5 Im gonna do a 7 day challenge. Lower weights but same reps so I dont have to string out on caffeine lol:
Today: pull
Wed: upper body 2
Thurs: no weights
Friday: glutes
Sat: push
Sunday: upper body 1
Monday: quads & ham

I think after week 5 im gonna take a slight break from the calorie counting. Plus it's the valentines that weekend and ive got an intimate date with a Pizza Hut Heart shape pizza, Cinnabon rolls, and an edible ☺️☺️☺️

Been a long week, took a personal day to get my head and my space straight for a simi-busy weekend.
Hit the gym first so I won't have to brave the cold again lol. Mixing up a few of my routines, this new back one is pretty efficient, gonna be a killer when Im more weight focused again.

Been wanting to use this for a while. Kinda scary first couple of sets but the position is really felt all through the legs and glutes.

Yes you will look like the biggest PHAGUETTE doing this but usually those are the most effective machines/movements TBH

Friends are wanting to go out to eat again to hang out, so doing alittle bit of adjusting rather than restricting.

Workouts still feel good, but soreness is creeping in. If yall know of a massage gun that does well, lmk! Last one i had stopped charging πŸ₯²

Alittle fatigued with cooking meal prep for breakfast lunch and dinner. Knew it wasn't sustainable but its got me back in the kitchen and creative again with meals.

This week leaning alittle more basic (and slightly less carbs again)
