Wearable Devices
Virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) headsets can be used to track where users are looking in immersive environments.
In research, integrated systems in VR headsets can study attention, perception, and decision-making in completely controlled virtual spaces.

Did you know..
Some eye-tracking devices can be comfortably worn by the participant.
A common type of wearable device is worn like a pair of glasses. It follows where the eyes are looking as a person moves around. Great for studying how people interact with the real world.

To work accurately, the participantβs head needs to stay within a box, the area where the system can track movement. If someone looks away or leans too far, the system may briefly lose track, but it can quickly pick up again when they return within the box.

Some eye trackers donβt need to touch the user at all.
Screen-based eye tracking uses a camera and infrared light to track your gaze from a distance. Often placed just below or above a computer screen. They track the eyes by detecting the centre of the pupil and how light reflects off the eye.
