Probably 5x that here in Az.

Probably 5x that here in Az.
And let the few tech bros at the top run the world. Kind of think that might be the plan of a few of them.
In my experience "health care entrepreneurs" care much less about "health" & " health care" than they do about the "entrepreneur" piece and after an initial splash of maybe some helpful moves that always becomes obvious.
TBH that is the way Substack etc promos for content are starting to sound to me.
They also don't understamd how big theae tankers really are.
I take your point- but don't think that's what's going on. I think he believes what he is selling- just my opinion.
Good one
I don't recall Carter making it a focal pt of every campaign speech, but no 24-7 media, long time ago & I wasn't paying as much attention (college yrs)- still didn't like it. But also, by the time he came on the seen he had a longer track record. Talerico still feels a bit wild card to me.
I'd settle for people who have read some real books on history.
This will be unpopular but here goes. Would I vote for him over any R if I lived in Texas? Yes. But reluctantly. I really have a hard time getting over my innate distrust of anyone who wears their religion on their sleeve & constantly refers to it - esp, currently, US "Christians."
Trying to imagine who could
replace him, both in tone and that underlying "hint of a smile" in his voice and coming up with zilch.
If I read the reports on the Sec'y of State's web site correctly (looked very quickly) -it was about 80% of reg voters (430k v 525k), 25% of total pop. But that was a presidential year. It will be lower this year. Lots of statistics there.
He should be the frobt runner - did ok last time. He and Galan Woods (who would be fine esp in that district - pretty centrist) have about the same amt of $; Treble has the most but lots of self funding.

I guess the whole field of gynecology is DEI.
Me! I read it!
Not in the free state of Az. We don't do big gov'ment here-- but crazy is still battering the ramparts.
And even if you can afford it (pr some) its time consuming, awkward and annoying to manage & read multiple subscriptions in multiple places. I am starting to find it (and the constant prompts to "upgrade") very annoying
Because 5 1/2 Catholics doesn't quite do it for them.
One of Don Jr's kids is old enuf too.
Live adjacent to Tempe & if I saw that in the local rag I forgot. Thanks for the heads up!
All About Eve
My great aunts' had a small stationary & bookstore down from the movie theater. Owners would give us popcorn when we visited.
Ad representative and "operator" in the garment district in NYC and small tile manufacturer in Europe before immigration
Candy store anywhere near the old Utopia Movie Theater?
"Deeply disingenuous" should be Alioto's user name.
I am to the point I grit my teeth every time I hear the word "Christian" or "Judeo Christian" from these guys. Muxh less "Armageddon" as a war plan.
I hit my "enough depressing news and analysis" quota before my 2nd cup of coffee today.
I have kibble stashed all over the house and find it in every pocket when I do laundry. A 10 lb weight sits on the lid of her food bucket and tjere are latches on the trash! (Her name is Hermione btw)
My superficial impression from quick scrolling this am is that polarization increased on both sides. Correct? Maybe predictable for primaries but makes me very nervous for generals.
