Thank you for reminding us all how stupid this has gotten

Thank you for reminding us all how stupid this has gotten
Seeing the shoe-buying spree, and remembering Reggie Love (Obama's asst) and Charlie Young (West Wing) doing personal shopping for their bosses.
Does DJT have a personal asst? Who is it? Or, how many has he gone through this year?
this version is my annual Christmas morning watch
You know, once you get past the oligarchs and racists, normal humans are actually pretty good.
aaah -- I'd forgotten that film! Thank you for the reminder
Small fuzzy dog staring longingly at the door through which her "god" has disappeared
Post a pic you took, no context, to bring some zen to the feed
Very NYC moment there: showing my kid around campus on the day of the final Seinfeld episode, went there for lunch and saw Spike Lee in the back booth.
It's Tom's! It's still there! That makes me so happy!
๐โโ๏ธ but I'm old and have no shame abt help
the addition looks like a trash chute w/windows
I'm sorry, but is this as misbegotten as I think it is?
kphbritt.bsky.social this was meant to reply to you!
3 yellow onions (2 sprouted), a head of garlic, and a large red onion, also sprouted
don't know if you're a poker player, but I see your leeks and raise you these
Between what I bought 2 wks ago, 1 wk ago, and produce guy brought yesterday, there are 4 cukes, 2 tomatoes, and 3 heads of lettuce. in the fridge.
Whoever said carb loading wasn't a good idea?
With either Gonzo or Rizzo (can't make up my mind) hiding in the desk

Sorry -- on a Cary Grant binge
but also -- Lonesome Kermit
Yes! I just started listening to this again -- after at least 20 yrs and love it again
This was the 2nd big (I mean BIG) unexpected loss -- the ice dance couple's loss was blamed not on a French judge but on the "EVIL" French team whose social lives were so obviously not appreciated by NBC -- just a reminder judging should consider performance on ice, not treatment of exes.
Everybody with a mid-November birthday now mutters "TMI"
A โค๏ธ for your difficult day -- sad songs are the best for days like this. Made myself a whole playlist of "sad songs." Mabel Mercer, the McGarrigle sisters, Eva Cassidy . . .
unrequited love, departed love . . .
The killer for me is Mercer's 'Once in a blue moon
I shared your joy this morning -- front door iced shut since Sunday, tried back door and slid amusingly but somewhat terrifyingly to my knees [not a good look for a woman w/2 new hips]. My ex-neighbor (ex!) came over w/a hoe today as well, and is coming back at 1:30 to bring groceries!
There's a new (?) commercial out w/Boomer Esiason selling insurance and he looks, sounds, and is dressed just like the guy in the other insurance commercial about people becoming their parents.
And I looked it up because I thought they were the same person and now you also know they're not
Plus, isn't there a cadre of well-trained traffic light and telephone pole climbers here to act as observers?
Best case scenario, we (yes, I'm here) take a lesson from Portland and half the crowd starts showing up dressed as Gritty and the Phanatic.
Is it maybe also time to replace Noel and Allison? Or is that heresy?
Needing relaxation & catharsis myself, I, a 75-yo woman who doesn't watch the NFL, will be supporting Seattle on here tonight.
Because: My kid went to USC so I recognize Darnold's name; & 2) I live in Philadelphia & the Seahawk looks almost like the Eagle.
Desperation is as desperation does.
You just reminded me that I forgot to watch this movie for Christmas. I didn't get my S Z Sakall fix!
Damn. I just sent him my "vote no" letter
