That the Trump admin is detaining and deporting immigrant journalists from the South should be a much bigger story. First Mario Guevara, who was taken in Atlanta, GA and deported. Now Estefany Rodriguez, detained in Nashville, TN while in her news van.
Two brothers from South Texas and their high school mariachi bandmates were recognized by their congresswoman last June for winning a state mariachi competition. Nine months later, the brothers, along with their parents and younger brother, are in ICE detention and facing deportation.

Everything is normal, everything is fine. Itβs not like the Trump admin has been bombing civilians purported to be cartel members without evidence, right? RIGHT?
A Nashville reporter who has reported on ICE was detained at a stop in South Nashville yesterday. Estefany RodrΓguez fled Colombia after getting death threats and is awaitng an asylum hearing.

This will never happen.
Because Iβm a chismosa, I want to know about the Corey Lewandowski of it all. Will he continue being special envoy for Noem?
When I wrote this piece on Noem for @theflytrapmedia.com back in August, I noted that she was completely disposable to Trump. He got his use out of her and now heβs on to the next one. What is more interesting to me is this βShield of the Americasβ the admin is shunting her toβ¦
I'm truly sorry to report that you still feel like shit because you can't self-care/drink/shop/eat/sleep/ignore your way out of fascism.

Feel free to turn it off! Enjoy your night! Have a snack, read a book, pet a cat. Fuck the SOTU.
Before my first mammogram, a friend told me not to freak out if they call me back for a second one because it's very common and they are extra cautious the first time around. And she was right! So, I thought I'd share that with you too.
I usually watch every SOTU, but I am sparing myself tonight. Life is hard enough. Why waste a precious night on lies?
I hope everything turns out OK! I had a similar experience last year that included a troubling mammogram. While everything turned out OK, it was very fucking stressful and scary. I'll be thinking of you!

I still very randomly think of people such as Kirstjen Nielsen and Scott Lloyd and then Google to see whose lives they are now ruining.
I promise y'all @theflytrapmedia.com already had this spectacular Bitch Mag reprint on sugar cane scheduled before we realized it was gonna run on Bad Bunny week!!!
