Thanks for the feedback! I've made the camera this way because it is from the perspective of another person, hence why it is a similar height to the player.
It definitely still needs some tweaking though, and I 100% agree with enemy placement being a possible issue π
I've made a blockout design of the first area, mainly to test if the current camera setup works well in tight spaces π₯
There's still some tweaks to be made to this layout, but so far I'm liking it! π¦

Added custom lighting on the clouds and planet surface so they're lit properly by scattered light :) #godot

Added weapons and armor with the ability to swap them with a suitable item in your inventory. Stat and Affinity changes are displayed in the status menu with nice little coloured highlights like in SMT 4.

I've added a bullet count as well as reloading.
The gun can also jam, and can only be used again when the right mouse button is pressed multiple times to unjam it.

Yeah I did learn quite a bit from this one, even though I didn't get very far with it. There's definitely some ideas from this game that I could reuse in other ideas I have, so not all is lost!

It took longer than I thought, but I've finally managed to fix the issues I was having with enemy pathfinding!
I had to rewrite the pathfinding script almost entirely from scratch which was a nightmare. Almost fully working now though!π¦
