Such a pleasure engaging with people who are working hard to ensure that our heritage sector remains robust and relevant into the future.
Such a pleasure speaking at this Llafur/Cyfarthfa Foundation event at Theatr Soar in Merthyr Tydfil yesterday. Such a wide variety of talks, delivered by knowledgeable speakers. A great turn-out as well.
Getting the volunteering process right is essential for both an organisation and the volunteer. Heneb is committed to delivering the best they can, and I'm delighted to be working alongside them on this journey.

Attended fantastic session by @GEM Cymru Group for Education in Museums this pm. Excellent presentations on projects taking place at museums across Wales. Really showed the value of putting funding and talented people who are passionate about their work together www.eventbrite.com/x/c4w-what-h...

This remarkable archive offers so many opportunities to explore a challenging part of Welsh history. The work currently being undertaken to make this collection even more accessible is commendable.

Delighted to have been part of the team that put this application together. Digitising this collection will make it accessible to a global readership. These documents reveal the role of imperial families in the daily workings of Atlantic slavery.

As one of the contributing historians, I was delighted to be at the official launch today of @corinnefowler.bsky.social book #ColonialCountryside. Great to catch up with old chums and meet new ones. Thanks to host @MirandaKaufmann at #Hartsheath
40 yrs on. @Llafur commemorates the Miners Strike 1985-6: 'Voices of the Strike'. Sat 7 Dec, 10am, online. I remember the strike well, this will be powerful. Book here www.llafur.org/events/llafu...
Had the immense pleasure of visiting the @NationalGallery #VincentVanGogh exhibition. Blown away by so many superb examples of his work in one place. Seeing his use of colour and brushwork so close up was a treat beyond measure.
Facilitated two focus groups today for a museum wanting diverse perspectives on future plans. Sharing opinions respectfully on challenging objects shows the value of honest and open spaces. Common values to the forefront of every discussion.
Delighted to have won the @museumsassociation.bsky.social Radical Changemaker award as part of their Museums Change Lives awards. Thanks to the @WelshGovernment for funding my #antiracistwalesactionplan with museums in Wales.
