5/ He briefly lost JD Vance, which must have felt great.
Alas, he found him again.

โShut up Mr. Presidentโ

I don't think Trump is being blackmailed or bribed by Russia.
I think he genuinely believes that a richer, bigger country should be able to do whatever it wants to smaller neighbours, and that Ukraine's defiance of Russia spits in the face of some imagined gangster-capitalist proper world order.
After we let Russia occupy part of your country and steal your resources, we will occupy the other part and do the same. Quite the starting point for the Americans.
"Trump's team is being played by a former KGB officer like children"
This is the way.
Hard to process the devastation Iโve witnessed in the last two days. Still in a state of shock for those who have lost so much in such a short period of time. #NoWords ๐
I find this so fascinating. Keir Starmer has used the Lord Mayorโs banquet as the stage for a major foreign policy speech.
But itโs what heโs not saying thatโs so striking.

Latest in @TheAtlantic. I never wanted to write. The Biden Administration was given an unexpected opportunity to make the world a safer, more democratic place after the Russian full scale invasion of Ukraine. However they failed and made the world more dangerous. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...
Ninja fella ๐
Fellas, I donโt post here a lot but you should absolutely know this // help me spread the word!
Violent crackdowns are happening in Tbilisi, Georgia. We are fighting for our lives here.
Please, please, please help us spread the word.
Ukraine corrected Sky News interview translation. To secure a peace deal, he said a NATO invitation should extend to all recognized territory of Ukraine, but NATO protection only territory under Kyiv's control. He'd then work diplomatically to regain territory held by Russia bbc.com/russian/live...
No Western govt has a legitimate right to criticise Ukraine's mobilisation choices. This is their flesh and blood, and contrary to the Russians, Ukrainians love their children too, and Ukraine needs to have a future.
Our job is to supply weapons and ammunition, more, better, and faster.
Did the decision to lift restrictions in Kursk come too late? Yes.
I received news about my friends...
They were surrounded and fought back as long as they had ammo. And then they were taken prisoner. After a short interrogation, they were shot on the spot...

So sorry Oleg. There are no words.
Funny because true.
Good news guys!
We have verified our account here๐
In other words: yes, this is really us๐
Thank you for following us here!
๐ฆfor everyone!
Thanks Steve. I don't mind seeing requests for funding, it's the assumption that everyone can afford it that annoys me.
I just followed you back a few minutes ago.
I'm a proofreader/editor and spend my time attacking the grammar and punctuation of eminent professors with my red pen of disapproval! ๐
Me too! I think many people just opened an account but aren't really active here.
Thanks for the positivity and the follow though. ๐
And for using a semicolon!
I'll give you a follow back.
I'm not talking about my own attention. If I tweet about Ukraine I get between 10 and 20 responses. I tweeted about going to hospital and got nearly 2000 responses. That was my point. The difference depending on subject matter. But you go ahead and make snide remarks. Whatever.
If it's a call to donate they would say "please give if you can". It's the wording "EVERYONE can afford this" that I was taking issue with. Perhaps you didn't bother to read my tweet correctly.
Yep, 4 times more responses (so far) to this moaning tweet than to a serious tweet earlier. I don't think it's a reliable reflection of how fellas think, but it makes me sad nonetheless. ๐ข
People migrating to blue sky means I can now have zero engagement in two places.
Seriously, carefully crafted tweets about ๐บ๐ฆ get no response.
I had more replies here to one health related tweet than to two years worth of Ukraine-related tweets added together.
I just watched this. Fellas should all watch if they can.
The daily battle of pushing back online can become routine and dislocated from its meaning. It's important to remind ourselves what this is all about and why we care. To really feel it again.
Thank you Oz. It hits home.
This was in the Irish Independent this morning
Youโd almost forget there is a major war within Europe, yet no mention
however the Middle East does.
