I love the subtle hints @clmazin.bsky.social does in #TLOU. In the pilot, there is the implication that somehow oatmeal raisin is an inferior cookie to the pedestrian chocolate chip. This subtle way of showing the infection has destroyed the woman’s brain that way is brilliant.

We have come so full circle on the internet.

Prestige TV where each season is essentially a 8 to 10 hour movie is great. But shows like #ThePitt and #TheStudio show the value in self contained stories that build upon each other. We may be past “Peak TV” but we’re getting some of the best TV ever.

I know tons of VFX artists have valid complaints about the PR “it’s all practical” campaign they did- but Top Gun Maverick is about as perfect a movie as is possible.

Ran into @clmazin.bsky.social at CAA the other evening. Let him know how much his vocal support for the VFX team on TLOU meant to our part of the industry. Seemed genuinely humbled by my expressions of thanks. Would love to see more people at his level appreciate our craft rather than denegrate.
