Very excited about the hinted-at reveal in the latest Chaotix Casefiles episode because it indicates that SEGA might be making actual first steps to establish a wider villains gallery for Sonic outside Eggman (maybe they’ve finally realised no one guns for Zavok despite how hard they’ve tried.

One of the random things I found was this (slightly scuffed) box set. I remember this being advertised all the time in the late 1990s during the TV shopping channel airtime (alongside its 60s and 70s counterparts) and I really wanted it. Nearly 30 years later it's finally mine!!

Been browsing some local record shops & second hand stores for music while I’ve been here. Was expecting to find some random cheap nostalgic curios. Instead bumped into a stash of Finnish indie & a random Japanese album I can find barely any info on online.

I feel like a lot of the creators who specialise in the long ass ones tend to structure them in chapters and clear parts now - I end up treating them like a TV show, watching 30-40 min chunks when there's an opportune time.

I’m maybe weird and unusual but I can’t imagine ever having a video essay play in the background. I need and want to actually /watch/ them. Partly why I actually care about their presentation (i.e. the /video/ part of them).

Dunno what's going to happen with this one. It's a righty so might be better for some of my nephews. If no one else wants it I may need to keep it. Don't really want to just chuck out my dad's own craft.

Also for the record, my first bass - i.e. my dad's first bass which he built himself in the 70s. That THICK neck was not friendly to my tiny young hands and having to swap the strings to accommodate my needs didn't help making it any easier, but it's what I learned the basics with.

One reason I'm back in the old homegrounds is to continue picking up stuff I left behind. Like my 1st guitar. Gave up on it p quickly at the time & realised bass is the way to go. Maybe 20 yrs later I'll have better luck. Excuse the dust.

I don't know why I struggle posting video so much on Bluesky, I don't meant to spam your feeds with multiple takes on the same post but these things just don't end up looking the same on the feed as they do on my PC, so I end up having to go back and tweak.
