The Ruino Tranĉrando was a vicious demon blade, sworn to the seven lords of entropy and decay. It was this instrument safeguarded on the moon that would ultimately be the source of the Curse of Tarnish, which turned the moon from brilliant silver into a blemished wasteland.

dq7 actually learned from this so once the temple is available it locks you out of going anywhere else until you complete the 4 hours long quest that lets you actually use it

mind you, the temple, even destroyed, let's you teleport between the two maps of the game, and while there are several other locations that also let you do that, this one is one of the easiest to get to, so the chance to go there and find out it's restored is very high

when you first reach the job temple, it's destroyed and you can't use it. then there's a boss who, when you defeat, it restores it, but the game doesn't tell you that, except for another boss that hints at it offhandedly at the 30+ hour mark

who wins: job system you have to earn 30 hours in DQ7, or completely missable job system 12 hours in DQ6?
