a ref sheet/doodle page of my character lucy. as shown, she was an adventurer that got mutated into some sort of axolotl mermaid after swimming in a contaminated pond in a cave. the new axolotl genes also granted her the ability to instantly regenerate any part of her body, basically making her immortal. (hi this is like,, the first time i ever made a ref sheet i think? this was honestly super fun though! although, i, uh, made no attempts to stay on-model at any point. uh, you can think of it as more of a reference for her vibes, rather than her proportions, ya know?) (oh right second tidbit: this character is like super old and i wanted to bring her back for fun cause i still really like her ok that's all bye bye)

a character with a bomb for a head that i made like 2 or 3 days ago. the body is mechanical and features several furnaces, which produce the material for more bombs when the head explodes. oh right i named them hydra

a spiny backed orb weaver spider that is suspended in a net. the net is hanging between the antlers of a wooden deer skull that itself makes up the torso of a marionette suit operated by the spider. hi i drew this yesterday. might revisit it later. I'm very happy but i can definitely also think of some ideas to improve this guy

i pretty much figured this out based on different blender features that i knew. i dont think theres a tutorial out there for this specific look

no render layers are involved! greasepencil can already naturally render in front of other objects.
didnt even need to mess around with geometry nodes either.
with the exception of the hair on the head its all just flat planes with a track-to constraint.
(though geo nodes mightve made it easier)

then i succeeded! thank u :D
