Meanwhile in Lebanon … youtu.be/ArrHZNsyy9Q?...
Lots of 10+ hour flights to nowhere for inbound flights to the region too (AA120, UA164, AC56)
This seems like an awfully questionable (at best) decision. 8/9 hour flight to nowhere. Don’t think anybody is getting into NYC/NJ today.
United also hasn’t canceled all its flights tomorrow. Maybe United and Amtrak know something we don’t lol.
Any thoughts on how long airports will be down if this forecast holds? My Monday night flight isn’t looking too promising at the moment.
JetTip shows 30 diversions but seems ops are running again
interesting they didn’t try to divert to atl at that point
A rare sight today … a plane trying to land in ny/nj
That AirTrain map is also outdated
The fact that they fly sporadically from both JFK and EWR to MSP is kinda crazy.
LGA is landing R13 right now which is always fun!
Wind Advisory for the NY metro tonight likely the culprit.

Plans are great, but when you are still relying on Arrow IIIs in 2025, there’s still a lot to be desired.
Newark is so bad tonight, they are apparently using Runway 11 for takeoffs! @airlineflyer.net
They are already utilizing the excuse on today’s flight delays.
Today seems equally bad. The staffing triggers list is growing.
Makes you wonder about this news from last month: www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
does the mean YTZ is getting pre clearance?
If the taxi time isn’t more than the flight time does it even count as a flight to Dulles?
It’s not a flight from nyc to/from dulles without mysterious 45-60+ minute taxi times. It’s just part of the before departure checklist at this point.
Thoughts on metro north Albany service
The real question is did you pass the quiz?
But you gotta factor in taxi time! I just had the luxury of flying EWR to Dulles rt this weekend and round trip total spent 96 minutes taxing and 106 minutes in the air 🤣
Guess it passed its test flight on Saturday.
You must ride the Prague ZOO Chairlift!
Maybe your cat is just excited that someone new has entered the fight against helicopters apnews.com/article/new-...
Seeing as EWR is using 4R for takeoffs, something has gone very wrong at EWR
Miles, you need to come to Jersey City/North Bergen and see the Jitney bus fleet running on JFK Blvd here.
Would the whole thing fall apart if you took a day off to reset and get back to Crescent City and then start first thing Thursday morning instead?
It likely won’t actually materialize
