OH one more pokopia thought- the music is beautiful and I LOVE hoe the pokemon center healing motif gets worked into so many songs, it's woven so expertly into the melodies and it really does a lot for the feeling that you're healing the land

Anyway I'll get some real pictures and a tour soon but my first actual build is sprout tower. All for my beloved bellsprout (although they can't live there yet... they hate the fire. I'm working on alternative lighting)

And it's all wrapped up in a pokemon ribbon it's a dream come true... I'm even excited to STOP playing and come back to it in like half a years time, knowing there's still so much waiting for me. I haven't even TOUCHED one part of the game yet, because I'm still building in the beginner area

It has like... the habitat management sort of aspect that love in viva piñata? Making sure the pokemon are happy where they live is so much fun! And it has the really satisfying gameplay loop I loved in slime rancher, where you spend time tending to your home and then go out exploring for goodies!

It's just CRAMMED full of everh single element I love about games like these... aside from the obvious animal crossing and dq builders/minecraft influence, it scratches SO many itches from other games I love

Anyway Pokopia... I'm not quite finished with the main story yet but I'm close (I think) and I can honestly say this is a genre defining game

Like everyone else I am absolutely balls deep in Pokopia right now but before that swallowed me whole I had an incredibly lucky run in with a shiny charmander in like... probably not even 150 resets and then THIS
