Trump seems to believe that attaching these anti-trans riders to the SAVE America Act would improve its chances in the Senate, one advocate said. But that's just not reality.

As of now, her daughter’s next appointment at the Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago hasn’t been canceled. But that feels like it could change at any moment. Getting arrested at this protest was terrifying, she said; but so is being a parent of a trans kid right now.
Another mom waited in the cell with Larissa — a Latina who risked arrest at this protest as Immigration and Customs Enforcement cracks down on families across the country.
She is a nurse practitioner who worries what will happen to her daughter if she can’t access gender-affirming care anymore.
Larissa was one of over 50 people who joined the February protest, blocking the entrance to the Health and Human Services Department headquarters.
She knowingly took the risk after talking with her husband. But they didn't expect she would be held in jail for so long.
The protest was organized by the Gender Liberation Movement, which advocates for bodily autonomy and trans rights, to protest incoming federal regulations that would essentially ban gender-affirming care nationwide for minors.
Parents and grandparents of trans youth, plus their therapists and medical providers, are fed up after years of health care bans and hostile rhetoric. Those feelings are driving them to do things they’ve never done before — like plan to get arrested at a protest.

But in all seriousness, binding used to be the wild west. Duct tape, electrical tape, ACE bandages. Now we have good products. But the FDA is cracking down on those. Read more:
