Trans athletes belong. Trans rights are human rights. I’m disappointed and heartbroken to see my alma mater choose exclusion over inclusion at a time when we should be doing everything we can to amplify trans voices (2/2).
@upenn.edu was the first place where I felt comfortable being openly and proudly myself. Taking that possibility away from trans athletes does a disservice to the very values this institution claims to stand for (1/2).
