i find that every time i’m in vc, there’s a guy always commenting that it’s refreshing to have someone be so positive. i think people tend to forget it’s just a game and not all that serious. we play it to have fun, after all

6. we changed up game strats if we needed to. enemy team had two snipers? me and the winston would dive the widow/mercy/kiri in the backline and we could trust our damage would be able to take care of the tank. enemy team went reaper? our snipers called out wraith form and tp so we could get him

5. COMMS. oh my lord, the comms. best communication i’ve ever had in a game of overwatch. every single person was timing their own ults, warning other teammates about enemy ults, calling out when enemies were low. i could have played that round with my eyes closed, the comms were so on point

4. everything stayed positive even when we’d lose a team fight. people switched heroes if they felt they weren’t bringing enough value and then they got results

3. they actually hold cover for heals😭 like, bless their hearts. you have a kiri and mercy who want to heal you and here you are, actually taking us up on the offer

2. the compliments came flying out from the get-go. it was like i was drunk in a random club bathroom and everyone had something nice to say. complimenting each other’s skins, cheering each other on, overall being really nice. one of the only games without anyone playing the blame game fr
