You don’t know anybody until you live with them, day in and day out. Don’t ask how a survivor didn’t know. Don’t wonder why they didn’t see it coming. Don’t doubt them because their abuser was nice to everyone else they met. Believe survivors.

Boundaries are so important to set in all of your relationships to make sure they remain healthy and flourish. When boundaries are violated, this can be a very strong indicator of abusive relationship.
