This week’s #ScottishHillTrack is route 167, Ardnastang (Strontian) to Glenfinnan by Loch Shiel.

The second part of this route goes north-east along the forest road on the side of Loch Shiel for almost 20km.

Red squirrel on bird feeder.

The Red Squirrels still have 'tufted ears' at the moment - but will soon lose the extra fur as Spring gets warmer. Two of them here on different sets of bird feeders this morning. Then to the hazel nuts to grab and bury somewhere in the forest.

The beach at Luskentyre and Seilebost on Harris. The image shows a grassy shore in the foreground, beyond which is a broad white beach which curves round, facing to the left, to a sandy spit of land. In the distance is an island with peaky hills.

Scotland has some great coastal scenery, but it's seldom more idyllic than at Luskentyre and Seilebost on Harris in the Western Isles. More pics and info: www.undiscoveredscot...

One of my favourite sacred spaces. A real sense of calm and peace. I feel very fortunate to have visited twice. Interesting to see the unusually large squint allowing those with infectious diseases to view services.
