No way.. I check the website ahead of time, I recite the order in my head until it's my turn, I give my order then move tf over.
Granted I've only worked for 3 different local news companies, but none of them use ai for writing. Things like grammerly, sure, Otter might be used only after listening to make sure it is correct, and some folks get headline or summary help when stumped, but no reporter uses ai for actual writing.

While visiting a Tim Hortons in Canada, I lost my wallet. It was part of a long road trip with a friend. Our first big trip away after high school. I was worried the whole rest of the trip. But a nice Canadian stranger mailed it back to my house in New Jersey. Fully intact, including Candian bills
And if they are not paid, they are exploited or tricked into participating. Because I guess it's easier to believe that than the reality: that people protesting inhumane treatment are using their god-given free will to speak out against what they see as immoral.
