Based off of other players they wanted to trade for, I believe including Eldridge is the only way they could've gotten Donovan, which is a hell no. A 1 year $12M deal is already a steal but if only Washington could help him defensively, it could be even a bigger steal if they can pull it off.

I just spoke to someone I know about if the Giants missed out on Donovan, I think they should sign Arraez. Even though he is terrible defensively, I believe that's why they have Ron Washington. I don't expect Arraez to be a gold glover all of a sudden but if he could help him that would be great.
