This is 100% enough time to catch a shiny Latios & Latias.

It is 100% much easier. I was very reluctant to try it because I thought Violet was the easiest it was going to get & I was wrong.

I would recommend watching Austin John’s videos because his explanations of the mechanics were nicely explained.

Yes, I mainly made sparkling power level 3 donuts, go into small hyperspace’s, and just fly reset until a shiny appeared.

Finally caught all starters, shiny, available in ZA (Pikachu is in another box).

I caught extras bc if I ever wanted to play with a shiny starter from the start in a future game, I’ll have some available!

Now that I’m done with this, I’ll be shiny hunting for Latios & Latias. After that, Pokopia 🙂

I have a couple of herba mysticas left in Pokemon Violet.

I’ll be shiny hunting these Pokemon. My goal is to catch them before Gen 10 is released.

I ordered Pokopia. I wanted a physical copy so it’ll be here in 2 weeks or so. Enough time for me to enjoy other games.

Finally came around to catching my favorite steel type Pokémon.

For people wanting/demanding/craving a Nintendo Direct:

Releasing games when the company is experiencing challenges developing the consoles itself because of tariffs…might be a good reason as to why a direct is not coming.

I think I’ve seen enough Pokopia gameplay to replace Metroid Prime 4 on my wishlist for this year.

Pokopia seems like a good game. Unsure if I have the time though. Currently shiny hunting a lot in ZA. Maybe in the future.

I’m really happy shiny hunting has become so accessible. I probably would have never been able to get my shiny Mudkip.

But I do treasure my pre-Gen 8 shinies much much more. Because they took more time or were just random.

They don’t know the struggle man lol

Seeing people post about their FRLG Shiny Hunts on Reddit is so hilarious to see.

The newer games are much, much easier to hunt shinies. The older games were such a pain.

I think between Gen 2 - 7, I only caught about ~15 shinies, with most being randoms. I only did two hunts: bulbasaur & swablu.

Went canvassing for the 1st time yesterday since 2018. Context: Before I entered the public sector, I was in community/grassroots spaces.

It feels very different now talking to people. Feels much more isolating. I think the pandemic really affected people, not just physically but socially.

Each has their trade off. What I do is buy mostly digital.

If I see a game I own digitally on discount, I buy the physical to add to a time box.

Now that you mention that, the shape of his feet do look like turbines too…

My guess for final evolutions are:

Fire/Fairy
Water/Poison

Most unsure about is Browt.
