god 75% of the tumblr posts about the plural apps are absolutely fucking atrocious. there is so much misinformation, entitlement, and really fucking weird shit going on over there. like every time i open Tumblr i understand more and more why the devs want out. these people are aggressively ignoring-

simply plural being discontinued and all of its users scrambling to find alternatives to move to. the best alternative right now seems to be octocon, but the dev is problematic so a lot of people dont want to use the app

i’ve done basically nothing but watch the plural apps situation unfold the last couple days, trying to keep up with conversations on a ton of different platforms. it’s definitely very not healthy but i cant bring myself to regret being as fully aware of the situation as i can be

uhm so along with simply plural being discontinued, ampersand is also being discontinued. Octocon is your only fucking option now and the devs are fucking horrible.
