Yes this is the boring season for weather nerds in the PNW lol
Yes this is the boring season for weather nerds in the PNW lol
I honestly forgot all about this! I will post here tonight with the next update. I put a note on my desk in my weather nerd cave to remind myself to post here as well.
By Friday night a stronger onshore flow will start to bring in some marine air . Models are a bit argumentative past Friday so I will keep an eye on them and update.
That is it for tonight! Next update tomorrow. Goodnight Kitsap! (or as Arlo just said β squeaky dooooo)
By Thursday the axis of the high pressure ridge will be right over Western Washington. Highs on Thursday and Friday will be in the mid to upper 70βs. There are some ensembles that are suggesting low 80's.
The front will start to make its way off to the east by tomorrow night and a new high pressure ridge will begin to move in by Wednesday. After some morning fog skies will begin to clear and highs will get into the mid 60βs.
Tonight could get a bit breezy in some areas around Kitsap mostly from Central Kitsap south. However because of how this front is moving I do have a bit more confidence in the European and HRRR. Possible southern wind gusts around 25 mph is possible.
Nothing has really changed since the last update yesterday. The weak front that is bringing us some light rain will continue through tomorrow. Showers will be a lot more sparse tomorrow but there is a chance.
Dang! I keep getting locked out of this!
Timeline for thunderstorms between 6-8. Iβll be looking at newest models soon and update here as well.
Lots of social media posts about potential tornados. Is it a possibility? Of course however very remotely possible! The biggest star on Wednesday will be the possibility of thunderstorms and lightning strikes.
Update coming tonight
No I havenβt forgotten you all here on BlueSkye! Somehow I locked myself out of this but Iβm back on!
Not weather related but itβs interesting. Did you feel the 3.9 little quake that was centered near Blyn?
