Hey all, a bit of an unfortunate update. I don't normally like to get very personal here, but the last few months have been some of the worst and most stressful I've felt in a very long time. There's a lot going on in my life right now ranging from good to bad, and it feels like at the drop of a hat, something will just pop up out of nowhere that puts me in a more stressed out and anxious mood then ever before. To put everyone at ease, while this has put a toll on both my mental and emotional health, this isn't a call for help or anything along those lines. I've been taking steps to try to manage myself and my stress and anxiety in many ways, and I am making steps in that regard. Next few months are going to be even crazier, I'm moving and will be making a major life change soon, but I'm hopeful that making these steps to better how I manage stress and anxiety will help with those processes.
However, I also wanted to give an update as to where we are with the video. I genuinely feel awful every time I have to push this video back, because I keep making promises and setting deadlines for myself, and it keeps blowing up in my face when life throws so many unexpected curveballs. I wasn't exactly truthful back in January when I updated you about the progress of the American Dad video, because there's something | left out: My video library on my external hard drive got corrupted back in November and I lost a meaningful amount of footage and hours that I put into this thing. I've been working over the past few months to piece together everything from nearly scratch (luckily I still had up to S5 of the video edited and exported, so I didn't have to start over completely), but given that major blow, as well as these stressful feelings over the last few months, my drive has been at an all-time low.
So as much as it pains me to say it, the American Dad ranking video will not be ready before Sunday, and given the trajectory of my life at the moment as well as making too many hollow promises, I cannot give another solid date. I'm extremely sorry to everybody for the delay and constant waiting, as well as the prolonged radio silence I keep leaving you all in. You guys are my supporters, some of whom are actually paying me in their support, and you deserve to be informed on a more frequent basis, and for that, l am sorry.
That being said, the sun is always shining above the clouds. So while I cannot give a solid date, I will at the very least make sure you are all more updated, and will aim to have this done in time to cover the first Fox season when that's done airing (in a perfect world, I'll finish the other seasons before then and then work on the current season while waiting). My hope is that I can finish this monster in June at the latest, and then play catchup with the current season, while also working on other videos on the side so it's not these massive gaps in time between releases. And to make sure you're not going away empty-handed, everyone will now have access to the ranking video sneak peek I posted a few months back, which is all the way up to Season 5 (link to video will be in pinned reply). Once again, I'm very sorry for everything that's gone down, and I love y'all and appreciate your continued support.
