I would start by checking upstream wines bug tracker to see if anyone has made an mr/pr to at least make a stub for that dll

Unless Microsoft distributes it freely and intentionally such as they do with directx or visual c++. There is no magic thread or material on this. It's just knowledge that comes with working on wine
Well because sometimes that's not how programming works. Also illegal to redistribute. If that all calls functions in other dlls that wine provides and those functions aren't available yet, then it won't work. On the other hand if it doesn't then it might work, but can't be distributed unless
If it's not implemented in upstream proton that's why. If it is in upstream proton then it just needs a new source sync into ge-proton.
by the way, if you live in Colorado,To contact your Colorado state representative about Senate Bill 26-051 (Age Attestation on Computing Devices), you must send your email to the representative who serves your specific legislative district:

I have officially landed in Burbank. Another year, another SCaLE, here we go!
I'm well aware of all of those and how to do things officially, I just haven't gotten to that point yet because I'm not packaging it yet.
Friendly reminder that planet Earth is a dense molten core encased in a layer of solids and therefore is, technically speaking, a ravioli.
Nom nom nom
Yes
btw for those python wizards out there -- there is no linting, formatting, or type checking or unit tests whatsoever so uhhh yeah.. maybe later. π
Bonus:
It also comes with a python library/standalone CLI tool i made to go with it that basically does all the extra things the standard flatpak command doesnt.
What is this? I wanted a desktop agnostic storefront for flathub so that I don't have to install gnome-software or kde-discover and their dependencies on other desktops. built on just python + gtk + libflatpak and appstream
Well, its been about a week, I'd say about 95% of the required features are all there. The UI still needs some work, but it's usable:

Idk if Monster Hunter can ever have a good story because the core theme of "we're protecting the ecosystem" will always be at odds with the core gameplay loop of "I'll murder as many lizards as it takes to get this cool hat."
ah woops, i looked but missed it!

Officially landed in Burbank,CA. For those attending SCaLE I'll be working the Open Wine Components booth next to the Lutris booth this weekend! π»
Also, Nvidia + game scope performance is hit or miss, there is no proper Nvidia support for gamescope
??obs is not included in any version we ship due to codecs. User had to install after
There already is. There's HTPC version and handheld version. Both of them are basically "steamos" mode, just one is for handhelds
Anyone plan on attending SCaLE in Pasadena this year that doesn't have a pass yet? I've got two extras. (March 6-9)
I found the Rosetta stone, it says stop rewriting everything in Rust π
Hereβs a common scam going around that you should know about: Sometimes cats will meow at you like they havenβt been fed, but in fact someone DID feed them, and theyβre just trying to get fed again- stay alert! π¨

Context: People are flocking to actual Chinese government owned TikTok-like app called RedNote to spite U.S. Government over potential TikTok ban. Duolingo tweeted this today.
We rebased Nobara's kernel patches on top of CachyOS's kernel (mostly hardware patches) and now it goes burr a little more ;)
