I'm honored that I was able to start my #apls2026 with the Embracing Leadership workshop! I took a lot away about how to contribute to AP-LS and how to lead inclusively in all the academic spaces I navigate. Then I, of course, had to do a little bit of exploring!

It's time for #apls2026! I'll be giving a talk this Saturday at the 1:30 paper session happening in Tuscany 9. I'll be talking about memory strategies witnesses may be able to use to reject misinformation they read or hear in interview questions!

Looking for books on how to study more effectively (so you actually remember the information) or how to tweak your teaching so students remember what you've taught? Lots of great resources from cognitive scientists below and in replies to the original post. Add on with your other favs.

Long time no see! Some updates on my second year at the U - this semester, I proposed my thesis, became a cycling academic, and was recognized by the U for my NSF GRFP award. Not too bad!
