Since I became an orphan, which is my new personality, I’ve lost a lot of motivation for things. But today I’ve had coffee, hoovered, and sat in the sun. Any other suggestions welcome.

Shouldn’t come as a huge shock that no one is going to care about my primary school report cards when eventually I pop off.
Going through all these things, and knowing there’s very little space to store anything, is like a further bereavement.
She and I were similarly minded about keeping ‘treasures’. Over the past few years I’ve been trying to force myself to part with things.
Also… what the hell should I do with them?
My mum, who died in August, has kept every single card that I ever sent her. I’ve cried so much I’m a husk.
