Yeah they streamlined it so much and made it fit the constraints of live action and the number of episodes so well, it was a masterclass. OPLA, I mean 😅

I'd been watching the anime for well over a decade and didn't think I could love Zoro as a character more until Mackenyu came along and smashed it so utterly we're all still finding shrapnel in our hair. The casting for this show is impeccable.
