As we enter the second half of Issue 13's reading period, we would love to see more transhumanist or cyberpunk flash fiction.
We have a fair number of longer dystopian works, and want to round out with our futuristic meat and potatoes

@parkeriswriting.bsky.social gives a multidimensional twist to capitalist envy in "Instructions for Self Reflection."
Wonderful to meet all the Radon authors (and some readers) at AWP this past week. It's nice to be reminded that the journal we put out while scattered across the digital world has real-world impact
The introverts only emerge every once in a while, and it's nice to emerge among similar others

Flat lay of Radon Journal Issue 12 next to a cup of cappuccino. The blue and green cover depicts a man painting Aurora Borealis in the sky, and the cappuccino has a bunny drawn in the milk.
Radon Journal issue 12 opened on page 46 with the poem βI canβt decide what to feel about this lifeβ by Manuela Amiouny and a cappuccino in the background.
Got my physical copy of @radonjournal.bsky.social Issue 12 last week! Itβs such a beautiful issue, and Iβm still incredibly happy to be amongst so many phenomenal pieces!

Emma is our most-published author, known for her unique, stylistic writing styles that innovate the short fiction form.
Her latest story with us is a softer, sweeter, more existential, and loving story that mixes sadness with yearing, and hope with generational spaceships
Today is the final day to nominate poets for the @sfpoetry.bsky.social Rhysling Award
Radon has a plethora of short poems from Issues 11, 10, and 9, ready for you to nominate
They're so fucking dumb
All of our readers in the UK, we encourage you to buy copies whenever possible from Seditionist Distribution.
We work closely with them directly each issue, and snagging a copy supports not only us, but the broader anarchist movement in Western Europe
Now that we've all had some time to process Issue 12, how were everyone's reactions?
Now this is a pretty board
Wonderful to see Lex doing great
Listen, I cannot stress enough how awesome this issue is. I had the pleasure of reading some of these stories in their early stages, and they are SO GOOD. Stop reading this post and start reading this magazine.
I have been submitting to @radonjournal.bsky.social for years!! It is an honor to have a short story in their latest issue alongside these incredible artistsπ₯° The issue is available for purchase, or the stories can be read on their website!! #WritingCommunity
I kid you not, this has never happened. Consider it my early valentine's gift to you.
Read this (honestly, actually) quite sweet story here: www.radonjournal.com/issue-12/at-...

My poem "I CAN'T DECIDE WHAT TO FEEL ABOUT THIS LIFE" is now available to read! Thank you Radon for giving it a home amongst many other talented writers!
Radon Journal Issue 12 is out now, including my sci-fi short story, The Atures Parrot. This one is very special for me, because it's a story I hoped I'd be able to tell for a very long time. It's about gravity, memory, and being the last one to speak a dead language π
It's out!
My new flash sci-fi story, "Uncontrolled Emotion," features a censor with no memory of signing his contract, and two women whispering on the other end of a line.
It's free to read right now, and be sure to check out the other stories this issue, too! I certainly will be!
Issue 12 is live!

Issue 12 stats. Fiction subs down, poetry subs up, acceptance rate 1.1%
Click to view our Issue 12 infograph. Fiction submissions are lower, but more poetry submissions made up the difference. Acceptance rate went up just a tad to 1.1% due to more flash fiction. Few people are writing dystopia amid Trump 2.0. All but one story is sci-fi. Transhumanism only 6% this round
