We have lots of copperheads! u know 2 b careful. I don't need to say it, but adults don't bite unless u step on them & many not give u a full dose of venom- they know they need it, but babies don't know any better & r more dangerous. A friend was bitten on her lawn. She was OK after a hospital stay.

It took our feral cat, Robert, years to warm up. Then one day he jumped on the bed and stood on my legs as if he'd always done so and he let me pet him. It was an emotional moment. He was a good little guy. We were lucky he decided to be our cat.

Hope your weather isn't bad! We get tornados in the southeast. When I had lots of cats, I kept carriers in the kitchen one on top of another. Cats loved them as beds. If there was a tornado warning, the carriers were convenient. We shoved them in & rushed them down to the basement.
