i know you can do some things to move pokemon to home from roms on hacked devices (which i do have a setup for!) but i never end up doing it bc it's so much more cumbersome and requires multiple devices :\ i think having the games available in a natural way for an accessible price is a good thing...
ppl who comment negatively on every positive thread about the new games or creatures or releases need to chill. it's fine to not like something and critique where due but actively seeking to be mean to others who are excited or yuck someone's yum constantly is wildly immature and honestly boring
i'd rather spend 20 dollars and have a rom that can actually send what i catch to HOME and future games than a free rom that means nothing outside of the context of just playing the game aha. pokemon isn't "just playing" it to me it's 100% remembering playing it through my collection
it's all just art. "porn" is just art that makes you horny, in precisely the way that "horror" is art that makes you scared and "metroidvania" is art that makes you write video essays
i'm excited for Pokemon day myself but it's kind of jarring to see others say they are when i know the day of will be nothing but complaining and anger ๐ฌ
