As my latest says, this is downstream of not feeling able to say "The madman's war is going to screw us".

Much of the commentary over the last week on the Strait of Hormuz has focused on the impact on global oil trade.
But blocking this waterway has also stopped supplies of sulphur and sulphuric acid.
It's probably not an element you've thought about before, but it's used in fertiliser, semiconductors - the computer chips used in all electronic tech from mobile phones to electric vehicles - nickel refining, and copper smelting (one of the most-used metals in the world).

This dumbo, gee-whiz, why-would-anyone-normal-care stuff is so depressing. "Niche yellow powder". "It's probably not an element you've thought about before." Anyone who did chemistry in school has thought about sulphur before and knows what it is.

Is this the same Andrew Neil who eviscerated Keir Starmer for not joining Trump's attack? It can't be, surely.

Congrats Bibi, you just turned a lot of mildly pro-Israeli Countries in Europe against Israel with your dumb war against Iran! What did you think recklessly causing Oil Prices to potential skyrocket way above to $150 a barrel or above would do?

Grim stuff. If you want more babies born in this country you either support wide ranging IVF and fertility treatment for everyone, including 'non traditional' parents, or you're not serious

Nobody really gives a shit about this film. Could make a bet on over or under 200M WW Box Office. Would be funny if it doesn't outgross Predator Badlands somehow.

Incidentally the β€œGaiman is autistic” defense these people use is not only very insulting to autistic people, who understand consent, but is … a little implausible given that he’s an incredibly emotionally skilled person! That - and talent - made his career: LBJ level social skills.

There's a big reason why Laser Air Defenses are becoming a thing, missiles against Drones aren't sustainable.

Politicians need to start explaining this to voters otherwise they will get the blame for the rising cost of living. This is America and Trump’s doing.

The idea that opposing and rolling back trans rights is good for cis women and girls is ludicrous on every level and absolutely enraging when applied in legislation and policy that obviously limits and rolls backs rights for ALL women and girls

1/8 The idea ADHD's being overdiagnosed in society, I believe, is being driven by the rise of influencers who may or may not have been diagnosed with ADHD but share content pathologising every day struggles claiming it's because of ADHD - creating a perception its everywhere

That's likely led to...

Sign of where things are going that in a shockingly competent move Labour's social media team are actually straight up promoting the fact that he had this falling out with Trump re the Iran war. The British right wing press and party establishments may have fucked up here methinks.

I was thinking maybe $150 in the next two weeks by that by Friday would be insane, jeebus. If that happens then $200 is nailed on *next month*.
