If this is true, this is the largest public corruption scandal in the history of the United States and it's not even close. It would amount to a **$2B** bribe to the President; the next closest scandal in terms of $ would be Teapot Dome, a measly ~$10M in today's $s

The bottom 60% of U.S. households don't make enough money to afford a "minimal quality of life," according to a new analysis.
If your Rep or Senator isn't capable of doing Van Hollen-style stuff β for cowardice reasons, or because they're infirm, or they're belatedly sucking up to a dying Trump movement, or really any other reason β you should primary them. It's gonna take a lot more stuff like this. All hands on deck.
Square image reading call to action in mustard yellow rectangle at the top. Tan background underneath reads comment on the posts of activists groups unions elected officials to urge them to help with a general strike. flood the feed. To the right of this text is a black and white image of a person using a bullhorn at a protest. # General Strike is below the text, and at the bottom reads we the people have to show them what we want with the general strike US logo on the right corner.
Help us bring more people in. The more support we have, the quicker we can mobilize to build infrastructure, to strengthen mutual aid, to create food distribution solutions, to build up strike funds and the resources to publicize the General Strike more effectively. #GeneralStrike

I have never seen anything like this in NYC. 5th Ave covered from 42nd St well to the 20s. Nobody prepared for this volume. Volunteers are holding the traffic on all the side streets. No police in sight. #handsoff
"A screenshot of an NBC News article headline. The headline reads: 'Texas bill would make identifying as transgender a felony punishable by jail.' Below the headline, a subtext states: 'The bill, while unlikely to pass, highlights the increasing extremism of legislation targeting trans people, especially in Texas, in recent years.' The NBC News logo is visible at the top, along with a navigation bar that includes a 'WATCH' button and a user profile icon."
I need y'all to sit with this headline and understand what is being done to our community. They're trying to criminalize our very existence.
This is a campaign of eradication.

Donald Trump is lying to you.
So to summarize, according to #maga, any Black, gay or trans person who achieves any position, no matter how degreed or credentialed they are is an unqualified #dei hire. And any white person, however unqualified or even sketchy is inherently qualified when they get a job. Do I have that right?
Just a reminder that Amazon workers are striking tomorrow through Monday, and that none of the βdealsβ are good enough to justify crossing the picket line.
Bluesky,
Today is my 2nd day on here as an escapee from The Bad Place. I am BEGGING yβall to repost this
I have $80,000 in scholarship money to give away to women and girls NATIONWIDE. I worked so hard to raise this money. Applications open THIS week. Iβm scared the mass migration will impact this
Ah. I didnβt pick up on that because that was a description of behavior not a βpersonal insult.β
Is it a personal insult to describe someoneβs behavior?
You sound exhausting
No, it shows thereβs no way to prove that the time and effort spent on postcarding is a good use of resources. So at the end of the day when a campaign needs to make real choices about where its $ goes, it should to be spent on strategies that have tangible results.
I was referring to βfucking dumb,β but okay.
Yikes, maybe take it down a notch with the personal attacks. I can personally verify that she knows her shit. And sheβs not wrong.
There is no way to track if postcards are effective, like with canvassing or phone/text banking. For most campaigns, that means itβs not an effective use of $. Sure, ppl want to volunteer, but if we admit postcards are busy work, sticking with it as a strategy is condescending as hell to volunteers.
π I miss my Tumblr.
Iβm saying it now with hopes that it sinks in: Donald Trump cannot take any oath of office until he is granted amnesty for breaking the last one he swore. Thatβs just straight up in the Constitution. 2/3 of each House. Thatβs the bar.
Itβs really something to watch the Party whose supporters poop on the floor in the Capitol and wipe their feces on the wall tell us which bathrooms to use.
1000 times yes!

This might be the best starter pack.
I made a Black women in tech starter pack because I couldnβt find one and it annoyed me.
