We went to Holiday on the Bay in Port Orchard yesterday. It was a good time!

Went on a very tiny adventure through a parking lot when I went to the local library to print some documents. Got some beautiful views of the Puget Sound, Seattle, Mt. Rainier, and a few islands.

Went to the Seattle Christmas Market yesterday and just generally enjoyed the amazing weather the family!

We made our most complex Thanksgiving dinner ever just the three of us.

I think I still prefer the death by messages than death by email. I feel like my inbox is where things go to sit and my chat I can keep relatively up-to-date!

Mostly just transitioning some things from batch campaigns to nurture series because at some point they stopped being batch campaigns and became regular things. You know... the best kind of technical debt is the one you create yourself because there was no way you could have known at the time. 😅

Met a particularly kind handyman today and he helped us with yard work. He was actively working to become an airline pilot and was taking solid steps to do it.

Pretty cool seeing people so clearly on the twisting path to achieving their dreams!

Very interested to see how this impacts email marketing. On one hand, I think this will reinforce best practices for content. On the other, it is going to force content writers into certain writing styles to get the best summaries — just like what has happened on web with SEO.

For the record, I want things to work when forwarded too. But the reality of my work situation is I am producing at such volume that I cannot make everything bulletproof and must rely on tools in my workflow to reach the acceptable level of quality.

A little bit of a frustrating day in my world, #EmailGeeks. The classic problem of designs/functionality breaking when the message gets forwarded popped up again.

Does anyone have tips for addressing this with those stakeholders who are concerned?
